Your contractor builds it. AV stays alongside you through the build — reviews, decisions, punch list, and closeout.

Tile, stone, wood, fabric, and metal finishes look different on a screen than they do in your hand and in your light. That's why material selection happens from real samples — from a box like this one, AV works through the options with you during your consultation, so you can touch, compare, and hold each finish against the others before anything is ordered.

Her strength is the handoff most renovations get wrong: a design that looks right and arrives with the budget, schedule, and details a contractor can actually execute.
Questions, answered plainly
Do you install or build anything?
No — never. AV Design Consultants is a design consulting company only: no installation and no construction. You hire your own contractor for the build, and AV gives them a clear design to work from.
My building requires architectural drawings. Can AV provide them?
AV does not provide drawings or filings itself. If your building needs them, AV can work alongside your architect — helping coordinate and push things along — while the architect produces the drawings.
Can you help with buying materials and fixtures?
Yes. Sourcing and shopping help is a core part of the service — lighting fixtures, materials, and finishes — plus help with ordering, and quotes gathered from different vendors so you can compare before you commit.
Do I have to be in New York?
No. AV is based in New York and meets clients in person here, and works remotely with clients elsewhere by video and phone.
How does booking work?
